Your health and safety is of paramount importance to us and in particular, because many of you are considered to be high risk, the board of directors of Vision Bermuda have confirmed we will keep Beacon House closed and make no plans at the moment to re-open. We will not be taking any chances. Also, as a result of Beacon House being closed, it is with regret that Dionne has been furloughed. This means she is still employed by Vision Bermuda, and it is hoped that she will be back onboard in a few months' time. Additionally, because of the reduction in donations, which all charities not delivering emergency services such as food and shelter are experiencing, all other staff are now on reduced time.
However, please note that the Beacon House phone number, 292 3231, is operational and if I don't answer your call, please do leave a message. We are still here for you and will help out where we are able. If you need to get in touch with Vince for any advice on vision matters, please let me know and he will contact you as soon as he is able. Unfortunately, he is unable to offer any regular in- person services for the moment and visits will only take place for urgent, critical need. He is, however, working on new ways to safely deliver some of our services and we will update you as we go along.
Please keep safe and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
