Lions Club Share Funds With Three Charities

The Hamilton Lions Club have shared more than $17,000 with three local charities after raising money through their annual Gas-o-Rama raffle sales.

This year's beneficiaries, the Bermuda Golf Association's junior programme, Vision Bermuda and Tomorrow's Voices, each received $5,750 during a presentation at Rubis Terceira's North Shore gas station.

The annual Gas-o-Rama, which involves Bermuda drivers filling their tanks for a charitable cause, was due to be held at the gas station on February 11; however, it was postponed because of road closures. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 13.
